For those who might not know, Akien and I run a private list for announcing our Poly Pool Parties (PPPs) and other poly-related events that we host here and/or are involved in putting on, mostly. In general these events are local to the SF Bay Area, but sometimes we announce things that we're doing elsewhere in the country. It's a very occasional and relatively low-traffic list.

We've been experiencing difficulties with our Weirdness Events e-mail list again. To deal with this, and to get out of the business of hosting our own server, Akien has created a new group on GoogleGroups, which will be replacing the old Weirdness Events list. People who were on the old list have been sent a message. If you were on the list before, in theory you should have gotten it already. But whether or not you were on the old list, or got that message, you are welcome to join the list now:

Current plan is to have the next Poly Pool Party in early May. More details will be announced via the new list (possibly also the old list this time, too, just to make sure that everyone knows about the change).
